I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker that offers individual and family therapy in a small private practice in Houston, TX. I received my BA in Psychology from Rhodes College in Memphis, TN. After a few years of hands-on work experience, I attended the Graduate College of Social Work at University of Houston. After graduation, I completed a Clinical Fellowship at the Menninger Clinic in Houston, TX.
I specialize in working with individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, and relationship issues. Much of the work I strive to do with clients involves integrating a reflective, curious, and compassionate stance. In order to improve our relationship with ourselves and others, we must assess our assumptions, expectations, thoughts, and past experiences. Then, together we can make necessary changes
I strive to help clients view themselves in a more compassionate and curious light. When we are curious and caring towards ourselves and others, we can reflect on our past actions and thoughts. This allows us to learn from them and find better ways to cope and adapt.
